Front Door Greetings
A home’s front door is among one of the first things that buyers notice when pulling up to a home. When selling your home, it should be one of the first things to be repainted or replaced if necessary. When repainting, sellers should select a color with care. Stained or natural wood color is nearly always welcoming because it projects warmth. Colors that complement the siding and trim are also recommended. It should also be noted that red is not only a lucky color, but in many cultures it said “welcome” to travelers early in this country’s history. Orange and yellow are also gaining popularity due to their association with joy and warmth.
Your home's front door is the focal point of its curb appeal. Make a statement by giving your front door a blast of color with paint or by installing a custom wood door. Clean off any dirty areas around the knob, and use metal polish on the door fixtures. To learn more about marketing your home to appeal to sellers, please call me today.
